FSR-Trio
The Felix Schneider Restschikow Trio, formed around pianist and composer Felix Schneider-Restschikow, is his first project under his own name.
The group performs exclusively original compositions, interpreted in a fresh and personal way by Schneider-Restschikow together with Sebastian Claas (double bass) and Max Lange (drums).
While the trio is often associated with modern jazz, it never loses sight of what matters most:
melodies that touch and rhythms that move. These elements form the guiding thread throughout the concert and make the program accessible to a broad audience.
The music remains engaging and dynamic thanks to moments of surprise, both harmonically and rhythmically.
In Schneider-Restschikow’s compositions, one can clearly sense his many years of experience in projects such as Castillo Kazaki, Raniin-Trio and Hussien & Felix.
His musical influences therefore range from Western to Eastern Europe and extend as far as the Levant.
The audience can look forward to a musical journey that is rarely heard in the piano trio format.
